Your Friends

At different times in your life you may have different circles of friends. It can be wonderful to search on the names of old classmates and teammates to review what they were doing when you knew them or to catch up on what they have done since then.

You may have some fun sending a newspaper article to them or gathering up and sending a bunch of articles for their birthday or for a class reunion. Or you may find an old article for some event that you were part of but in which you didn't get mentioned.

In any case, you are part of each other's stories, and even if you are just looking for memories, this is the place to start.

Use the Advanced Search to find your friends in the news, then add them to your file cabinet or save to your desktop.

You may also want to put together a file of articles of the important events that shaped your generation and both comment on and share it with those who were there with you.

It's a friendly thing to do.
